Magic Plans and Events

Talal Al Asad was victorious at the Standard RCQ event Piloting a Gruul Aggro Deck to victory! Congratulations Talal!

With an awesome Standard Constructed RCQ behind us we wanted to share some new plans we have for MTG play at Good Game.

Monthly Goals: Besides the prereleases, store champs RCQs and other events planned by WOTC we also wanted to guarantee amounts of play for each format players might want to participate in. That means we want to do the following minimums:

1 limited a week 
1 Commander event a week
2 Standard events a month
1 Modern event per month
1 Pioneer event per month (eventually)

Weekly Schedule might look like:
Monday (fun alternative events)
Thursday (Commander Focused)
Friday (FNM events, limited focused but not exclusively)
Saturday (Constructed)
Leagues active all week long

Ideally our goal is that no matter what format you like, you will find consistent fun games to play on a regular basis.


New league Ideas:
1. Standard Constructed League
2. Modern League 
3. Commander Recent Precon League (starting from bracket level 2 and ending at bracket level 4)
4. Standard Deck Builders League (A custom Good Game Ban list that encourages original deck Building and rewards players for original decks as well as piloting those decks)
